M. Yates Engineering Scholarship

The M. Yates Engineering Scholarship is presented annually by Arnett Environmental to a senior at The Villages Charter School desiring to pursue a degree in engineering or related technical field. As we strongly believe, one’s life and career should be characterized by excellence, integrity, professionalism, encouragement, and generosity. We should seek not so much to be served, but to serve. The selected scholarship recipient is someone who has shown excellence in the classroom and has also displayed a heart for service to others.

Disabled American Veterans

Empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. They work to see that children do not go to bed hungry; that seniors do not have to decide whether to buy groceries over their prescriptions; and that neither have to worry about where their next meal is coming from. Throughout the USA and around the world they mobilize thousands of volunteers to package meals and distribute them locally, nationally in disaster areas around the world.
